SHALOM INSTITUTE CELEBRATES A PLACE FOR EVERYONE TO BELONG AT ANNUAL GALA ON DEC. 2, 2012 AT THE MARK

Friends of Shalom Institute, home of Camp JCA Shalom gathered at the Mark on December 2, 2012 to highlight and support the work of Shalom Institute. The evening celebrated the experiential education programs, camps, and community events available at Shalom Institute for youth and adults from diverse walks of Jewish life. Guests paid tribute to the Gala honorees for their outstanding achievements and unwavering commitment to the community and the Institute.

We are grateful to our  2012 honorees – David J. Epstein, recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award, Elaine Hall, recipient of the Vision Award, and Robb “Robbo“ Zelonky, recipient of the for the Her Zakh Tsu Award, for their support.

Shalom Institute thanks all the incredible volunteers and donors for their generosity. A special thank you goes out to the award presenters Sally Weber and the former Governor of California Gray Davis.

Event proceeds benefit the important work of Shalom Institute through Camp JCA Shalom scholarships, facility improvements and program enhancements.
