Located in the scenic mountains of Malibu, CA, only 5 miles from the Pacific Ocean near Leo Carrillo State Beach and less than 45 minutes from Los Angeles, Shalom Institute’s Alan D. Leve Campus sits on 200 acres of breathtaking wilderness, an oak and sycamore covered terrain with hiking trails, sweeping panoramic views, and waterfalls – a true Southern California retreat and conference center jewel. In November 2018, the Woolsey Fire destroyed 95% of our facilities. While we are in the process of rebuilding, our Malibu campus is host to summer camp overnights and day trips, Jewish holiday family fun days as well as day retreats and programs for synagogue, religious and day schools.

Our picturesque campus is available for rentals! Introducing our new inclusive and accessible ropes course – the perfect space for hosting team-building programs and events. Ropes course team building activities can help groups work together and develop trust, among a number of other important qualities for collaboration. The Alan D. Leve campus is also available for filming, parking, nature walks, day meetings and retreats. The natural beauty is breathtaking and will inspire your team.
