Family Fun Days at Shalom Institute
The Gilberg Family Jewish Holiday Experience presents our Family Fun Days series designed to bring joy, fun and a camp-like atmosphere to the celebration of Jewish holidays for young families in the Los Angeles Jewish community. Hosted at our picturesque Alan D. Leve Campus in Malibu, each holiday celebration is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature while participating in engaging, interactive, holiday-themed activities. Our signature Ropes Course at our Malibu campus is a key highlight of Family Fun Days. Family Fun Days are packed with activities that celebrate themes of each Jewish holiday. From arts and creativity to environmental education, animal encounters, nature walks, song sessions and more, there is truly something for everyone. Engage in scavenger hunts, sustainability projects, the apple press and our unique “Jamba Jews” bike blender experience. These hands-on activities ensure that families create lasting memories together as they celebrate the Jewish holidays. Our series includes celebrations of Sukkot, Hanukkah, Tu B’Shvat, and Passover.
