Full Service Retreats
Shalom Institute provides our expertise in experiential education, team building, outdoor adventure, and camping to create with you the most meaningful retreat experience for your community.
Due to the destruction of our Malibu facilities by the Woolsey Fire in 2018, we are working with organizations – like yours – partnering to run day and overnight retreats at leased facilities throughout Southern California. Our Malibu site is available on a limited basis for day retreats and programs.
From planning to marketing, staffing, programming, to the implementation of your retreat, we can do it all for you, or help you in areas where you need our expertise and resources.We offer various full service retreats depending on what you are looking for. There are three different types of retreat programs.
Type of Retreats:
Full Service Weekend Shabbaton Retreat – We host your religious school retreat with a camp style experiential program.
Family days – Strengthen your community by having us host them for a day at camp. Whether it’s your temple, or/and your community’s families – we provide camp-style activities, nature hikes, service projects, and more!
Camp-Style Day Program – For Religious Schools or Day Schools, we host a camp style day of fun. You can theme this around a holiday or just join us in some camp style fun.
Service Days – Come join us at our Malibu campus, at Shemesh Farm at Malibu Jewish Center & Synagogue, or out in the community. We love having groups volunteer to do service projects, work with our Farm Fellows, and help wherever it is needed.
We are happy to work with you to customize your retreat – whether it is a day, weekend, a week, or longer!
