A former Chaverim Unit Head and Head Counselor (2005 and 2006) and a Los Angeles native, Sarah is thrilled to be part of the Shalom Institute year round team. Sarah has worked for a variety of organizations in the Jewish community, including UW Madison and UC Berkeley Hillels, Congregation B’nai Jeshurun in NYC, and The Museum at Eldridge Street on New York’s Lower East Side. Sarah has a BA in history from UC Berkeley and an MPA in non-profit management from New York University. Sarah loves camp and is happy to be part of the year-round staff helping families experience the JCA magic. She and her husband Larry have two daughters and two dogs.
